Funding
The Wausau MPO receives funding for transportation planning from federal, state, and local sources. Every two years, the Wausau MPO allocates federal funds through the Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) to projects that meet established criteria. Funding for non-motorized transportation is available every three years through the Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP).
